We prefer to see the battery being charged on the bike. Unfortunately, this is not an option with certain accommodations. If it is really necessary to remove the battery from the bike, here are some tips!

– Using the battery charger is at your own risk

Step by step removing the battery from the bike:

1. Insert the (bicycle) key* into the battery lock.

2. Turn the key a quarter turn

3. With two hands, push the battery from the carrier (to the rear)

4. The key is not required to replace it. (press firmly)

*the E-Cargo has a separate key for the battery lock.
